iO Convention 2019, 1- 2 November

The iO team is delighted to announce the schedule for this year’s Convention, the networking and CPD event of the osteopathic calendar.

The event brings together osteopaths from across the UK and Europe and is your opportunity to meet and mingle with your fellow osteopaths while having access to the highest quality CPD, with an outstanding line up of speakers and workshops from across the osteopathic and healthcare communities.

Following the success of the iO’s regional Roadshow events at which we shared our vision for the future of osteopathy, our headline plenary session will consider how we build a growing and thriving profession that will sees osteopathy recognised and accessible to all.

New venue, new schedule

Following feedback from members, we have moved this year’s convention from central London to the outskirts.  The London Heathrow Renaissance Hotel, sitting just outside the M25 is easily accessible by train, road and air.

We have also changed our schedule to two packed days, which sees increased number of plenary sessions where you can have the opportunities to share with the iO and other’s how we can make our ambitions for the profession a reality.

For several reasons, Gilly Woodhouse has a special affinity with osteopaths. Knowing that marketing can be challenging, she creates online training courses for worldwide osteopaths to learn how to better market themselves and grow their patient lists. She also coaches individual private clients, taking them from stuck and struggling to positive, confident and thriving in their Practices.

Ultimately, Gilly works towards creating greater awareness about the benefits of osteopathy. She has set up a large, thriving Facebook group #OsteopathyWorks to support osteopaths in this endeavour.
